Companies from Russia, Belarus and Cuba have agreed to unite forces in the development of vaccines and drugs. The agreement was signed during the II Youth Forum of the CIS and the EAEU.
The document was signed by a group of enterprises of the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industry from Cuba, Russia (“Active Component”) and Belarus (Belpharmprom).
According to Prime Minister of Cuba Manuel Marrero, the creation of a registry of anti-infective drugs may be the first work under the project and can be implemented in the short term.
Earlier this May, a cooperation agreement was signed between Russian and Chinese pharmaceutical universities. Universities have agreed to exchange students and teachers, as well as develop en educational programs together.
