The Russian Federation’s Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, has taken a decisive step by signing a resolution that calls for the addition of 21 crucial positions to the list of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances that require strict control within the country. The comprehensive list of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances has been diligently published on the legal acts’ portal.
Substances categorized as opioids, phenylalkylamines, benzodiazepines, and synthetic cannabinoids have assumed new positions as being particularly perilous to human life and well-being. The government justifies that this decision is intended to enhance state supervision over the distribution of emerging psychoactive drugs.
