The I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University will be launching a cutting-edge Center for Clinical Research of Antitumor Drugs, in collaboration with Russian company R-Pharm. This project aims to revolutionize the field of medicine by not only developing innovative medications and medical devices, but also by rigorously testing, promoting, and implementing them within the healthcare system. Furthermore, the center will play a pivotal role in nurturing and shaping the next generation of scientific experts.
Marina Sekacheva, the director of the Institute of Personalized Oncology at Sechenov University, who will lead the new center, emphasizes that the signed agreement establishes a foundation for a lasting collaboration with R-Pharm. She believes that such a partnership will enable the creation of a comprehensive system that can efficiently supply domestic healthcare with effective medicines produced entirely in Russia.
