Pharmaceutical and medical industries drive growth in Moscow industry in 2023.Over this period of time, such enterprises brought the city budget 16.6 billion rubles, said Elena Zyabbarova, head of the capital’s finance department.
Enterprises from mechanical engineering transferred 29 billion rubles, the food industry transferred 24.9 billion rubles, and electronic and radio engineering transferred 23.1 billion rubles to the Moscow budget. These enterprises contribute nearly 50% of all revenues to the city budget.
Moscow’s appeal to industrialists is boosted by support measures like loans, tax benefits, rental concessions, subsidies for leasing costs, and equipment purchases.
