In 2024, companies taking part in government procurement will still be eligible to receive a 50% advance payment based on the contract price. This resolution was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision applies to government contracts financed from the federal budget and subject to treasury support. Regions are recommended to apply similar provisions for contracts co-financed from the federal budget.
The advance on government contracts was previously restricted to a maximum of 30% of the agreed contract price. By increasing advance payments, organizations gain access to more resources, enabling them to efficiently and expediently fulfill assigned tasks while maintaining absolute control over budget expenditures.
