Doctis, a Russian service, is making its way into the market of Saudi Arabia

According to Interfax, Doctis, a provider of telemedicine services, in which the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) is a co-investor, is set to expand its operations into the Saudi Arabian market. A partnership agreement was signed with Rowad Medical Services, which offers digital solutions in the healthcare sector.
The parties registered the international company DoctisME in Saudi Arabia, RDIF reported. It will provide digitalization services to both the Saudi Arabian public health system and local private healthcare clinics.
It is planned to cover 50% of the country’s population as users. Let us remind you: the Doctis telemedicine service was launched in 2016, and in 2018, RDIF and its foreign partners joined the project.

“In recent years, trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia has been developing rapidly, and we think that one of the growth points should be strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of pharmaceuticals and protecting the health of citizens of our countries,” he said in the spring of 2023.
