The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, announced during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin and members of the Cabinet of Ministers that approximately 150 new medium- and low-tonnage chemical enterprises will be established in Russia by 2030. Manturov stressed that, following the president’s orders, the development of the most crucial sectors for the economy is being shifted to the framework of national projects.
“This, firstly, concerns the formation of a full cycle of chemical production. For this purpose, by 2030, about 150 new medium- and low-tonnage chemical enterprises will be created. Thus, we will provide Russian raw materials to thousands of manufacturers of medicines, cosmetics, perfumes, household and industrial chemicals, varnishes and paints, building materials and food products,” Manturov said. – Mastering new competencies will allow us to rhythmically update fixed assets and increase the degree of automation in industry. Along with the implementation of domestic software solutions, this will increase the level of digital maturity of enterprises to 85%.”
According to him, additional capitalization of the Industrial Development Fund will make it possible to implement at least 500 new projects by 2030. “Using the mechanism of the cluster investment platform, we will be able to attract about another 2 trillion rubles of private investment into the industry. And for industrial mortgages, about 10 million square meters will be involved in economic turnover. m of industrial real estate. This, among other things, expands access for small and medium-sized businesses to the infrastructure of industrial parks,” added Manturov.
