The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision sees 2022 boosting Russian vaccine production

According to the head of Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergei Dankvert, domestic enterprises produced 19.3 billion doses of veterinary vaccines by the end of 2023, which is 3 billion doses more than in 2022.
For example, the Federal Center for Animal Health of the Rosselkhoznadzor (FSBI ARRIAH) in 2023 developed 13 new vaccines for domestic and farm animals. From 2021 to 2023, the volume of veterinary vaccine production increased by 2.7 times and is projected to reach a fivefold increase by the end of 2024 compared to 2021.
Another industry leader, NPP Avivac LLC, which specializes in poultry products, has demonstrated impressive growth, with a remarkable increase of 12% over the past two years. The forecast for the end of 2024 for this manufacturer is 31% compared to the same 2021.
The FSE “Shchelkovo Biocombinat” is the third-largest producer of veterinary vaccines. It is also showing growth and, according to forecasts, will increase production 10 times by 2021.
