The Moscow Region demonstrates growth in production volumes in key healthcare areas in the period from January to August 2024. This encompasses the medical instruments and equipment sector, which saw an impressive growth of over 41% compared to the same period last year. The statistics were provided by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the region.
At the same time, the production of medicines and medical materials increased (+23%). The output of pharmaceutical substances increased by almost 20%. The department highlighted that the pharmaceutical and medical projects undertaken in the Moscow Region are designed to secure the country’s technological sovereignty.
