The Federal State-Financed Institution “Federal Centre for Animal Health” (ARRIAH), part of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), aims to boost its bird vaccine production to 13 billion doses by the end of 2024. This announcement was made by Sergei Dankvert, the head of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, during the Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn.”
“In 2023, the «ARRIAH» produced 6.5 billion doses for birds in nine months, this year it has produced 10.5 billion doses. We will produce approximaimportses, and import 17 billion doses (NB: in nine months of 2024). We are slowly but surely closing all the gaps,” Dankvert said.
