The Moscow State Educational Complex is planning to open an innovative center for training specialists in the pharmaceutical industry. The center’s primary unit will function within the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, located in the Pechatniki district, offering training programs for up to 1,500 professionals every six months. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.
The center’s educational program will cover six key areas, including laboratory chemical analysis, genomic engineering, industrial biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and mechatronics. Liksutov emphasizes the critical importance of training genomic engineers, who are increasingly sought after in the biotechnology, agronomy, and research fields.
The upcoming educational facility will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a fully equipped production pharmacy, specialized laboratories, and greenhouses dedicated to cultivating medicinal raw materials. Educational programs will be tailored to meet the evolving needs of businesses, ensuring the effective training of specialists who are essential for advancing the domestic pharmaceutical industry and bolstering Russia’s technological sovereignty.
