Sotex and Rafarma have been working with educational institutions in various formats for a long time. The HR Department actively organizes career days and open house events for senior students and graduates, while also participating in job fairs and career forums.
“It is worth mentioning separately the regular holding of the Student Interuniversity Pharmaceutical Festival, which is a traditional platform for communication between students, educational institutions, industry experts and top managers of companies in the production segment of the Protek Group of Companies,” said Anna Martenyuk, HR Director of Sotex. “The event is designed to help talented young people learn more about working in a modern manufacturing company, about the challenges in training specialists for the pharmaceutical industry and about career opportunities in a large pharmaceutical holding. The leading universities of the country supported the festival, they acted as its partners.”
The concept of PharmFest, initiated by the HR Department of Sotex, was first realized in 2020. Since then, the festival has been held regularly; this year was the fifth event. During this time, it has acquired international status, with more than 1,500 students taking part.
In addition to their collaboration with universities and colleges, the HR department at Sotex is actively implementing educational programs that feature engaging lectures, seminars, and discussions with industry experts.
“Such cooperation makes it possible to prepare personnel for specific tasks, to familiarize potential employees with internal standards, technologies, business processes in advance, which ultimately saves resources on training and significantly reduces the adaptation time for newcomers,” continued Anna Martenyuk, HR Director of Sotex. – Such interaction contributes to improving the quality of training of future specialists, and allows graduates to decide on their choice in advance and subsequently find employment.”
