Recent data shared by Maria Novikova, the director of the Veterinary Department at the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Agriculture, indicates that Russia experienced substantial growth in vaccine production in 2024. Production figures surged by 1.7 times compared to the previous period, totaling 32.5 billion doses, a significant increase from 19.2 billion doses in 2023.

At the same time, the total volume of the veterinary vaccine market, including imported supplies, grew by 10% over the past year. This dynamic indicates the active development of the livestock sector and the expansion of the pet market, Novikova believes.
