Russian vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease have attracted the attention of Iraqi specialists. Iraqi representatives visited the Federal State Budgetary Institution “ARRIAH”, the leading scientific center of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the protection of animal health. The meeting focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in the veterinary sector, particularly regarding the potential involvement of the Russian side in a tender for supplying anti-foot-and-mouth disease vaccines.

The negotiations resulted in the signing of a distribution agreement, laying the foundation for a long-term partnership between the countries. The agreements reached create favorable conditions for the entry of Russian-made veterinary products into the Iraqi market, which significantly expands the export potential of the Institution “ARRIAH”.
