The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Gamalei National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology announced the creation of the Sputnik V International Scientific Expert vaccine Council, the RDIF reported.
The council included scientists in the virology field, microbiology, genetics and biotechnology from Argentina, Great Britain, Germany, India, Russia, the USA, France, Sweden and Croatia, who represent the largest scientific and medical centers.
“RDIF and Gamalei initiated the creation of the International Scientific Expert Council on the Sputnik V vaccine and the formation of an international platform where vaccine development scientists can exchange information, views and expertise with leading foreign colleagues,” said RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev.
He noted that such a scientific exchange has become especially popular in connection with the pandemic, which stimulated the unification of the global research association.
