The Ministry of Health of Russia has developed and put up for public discussion the draft of the government decree that establishes the rules for the purchase of medicines and medical products for a specific child or groups of children, wards of the Fund “Circle of Good”.
The draft establishes the powers of the fund’s board of trustees and experts. The Board of Trustees of the Fund approves the list of medicines purchased by the Ministry of Health or its subordinate institution, and the list of medicines, medical products, technical means of rehabilitation purchased by the Fund.
The expert council of the fund compiles a list of serious life-threatening and chronic diseases, a list of categories of children with such diseases, assesses the presence of medical indications and the absence of contraindications for providing such children with appropriate medical care.
