The World Health Organization is ready to help accelerate the certification process of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, developed by the Gamalei Research Center, said Oleg Benes, immunization department senior specialist at the European Bureau of organization.
“A number of vaccines are at the stage of coordination and provision of information, including the Sputnik V vaccine… WHO looks forward to cooperate and provide possible assistance to accelerate these processes”, said Benes at a briefing of WHO European Regional Office.
Earlier, Minister of Health of Russia Counsellor Sergey Glagolev said that the Russian certificate of vaccination against coronavirus contains all the necessary information for an international document, which the creation of which is being discussed on the WHO platform.
