Another 2.7 billion rubles will be received by the regions of Russia to provide free medicines for patients with coronavirus infection. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“We are talking about patients who receive medical care in an outpatient setting, it means, they are treated at home under the supervision of doctors. To prevent the adverse course of the disease and the development of complications, they are prescribed combined treatment regimens, “the explanatory note to the document says.
The necessary drugs are given free of charge according to a doctor’s prescription.
Earlier, more than 10.7 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes. The issue of allocating additional funds was considered and approved at a government meeting on March 11.
