In the presence of the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal Region Igor Komarov and the acting head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov at the Saransk Biochemist plant (part of the PROMOMED Group of Companies), the initial procedure for creating active pharmaceutical substances for the production of innovative antibiotic of a new generation was carried out, the press service of the Group.
The drug will be used in the treatment of severe diseases. Its large-scale production will start next year.

After working out the technology of industrial production of the drug, the plant will begin its serial production. ”
The drug will be available in hospital form as a lyophilisate for intramuscular and intravenous administration. The technological capacity of the enterprise already allows it to be produced in the volumes necessary to meet all the needs of medical institutions in Russia.
At the Biochemist enterprise, Igor Komarov and Artem Zdunov also examined the AFS production workshop for the production of antibiotics and a scientific and production site where they develop promising drugs.
