Avivir presented an express test for immunochromatographic detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in human saliva, developed jointly with the Korean company Nano Bio Life. The technology allows you to test the patient without additional equipment, avoiding personal contact with a medical product, which allows you to minimize the spread of the virus, the company said. The result is available within 15 minutes.

The express test does not require special medical equipment and smear fences for its conduct, which can only be carried out by medical personnel. An advantage, according to the developer, is the ability to detect the virus antigen from a human saliva sample without the need for the patient to contact both the medical product and the medical personnel conducting the testing. The package includes all the necessary materials for analysis: a test cassette, a test tube, a nozzle with a drip and an instruction with a detailed description of the testing mechanism.
