Most of the drugs, 21 out of 28 recommended by the Ministry of Health for the treatment of coronavirus, are produced in Russia, and eight of them have their full manufacturing cycle in the country and are made from domestic ingredients,” Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said.
“It seemed to us that it was impossible to complete some tasks in such a short time, but we managed to do it. Suffice it to say that 21 from 28 drugs recommended by the Ministry of Health for the treatment of COVID-19 are produced in our country, and eight of them have their full manufacturing cycle in the country and are made from domestic ingredients,” TASS quotes Golikova from the panel session at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that in 2020, healthcare began to mobilize its resources in cooperation with industry. According to her, it is also important that Russia continues to increase production volumes and is prepared for pandemics in advance.
