Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved the list of curators of state programs. According to the document published on the government’s website, a specialist deputy prime minister is assigned to each program.
“The introduction of curatorship will make the management of state programs more flexible. The curators will guide the work of the managing councils, which will be able to quickly make amendments to the passports of state programs to keep them up to date,” the press service of the government stated.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova will be responsible for:
– “Development of Healthcare” (Ministry of Health);
– “Ensuring chemical and biological safety in the Russian Federation” (the Ministry of Health);
– “Development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry” (Ministry of Industry and Trade).
The budget of the state program “Development of Healthcare” for 2018-2024, according to the passport, is over 32 trillion rubles, “Medvestnik” reports, whereas that of State Program “Development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry” (2013-2024) is over 147 billion rubles. The program “Ensuring chemical and biological safety in the Russian Federation” was approved in 2019 and will last until 2025; access to the information about its financing and performance indicators is restricted.
