No complaints about Sputnik V have been presented by the revaccinated, said Alexander Ginzburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, RIA Novosti reports.
“There have been absolutely no complaints about side effects,” he answered the question about the reaction of the body to the third dose of vaccination.
Earlier, Ginzburg said that immunization with Sputnik V, with the subsequent revaccination with the nasal form of the vaccine, was likely to provide full protection not only against the severe course of COVID-19, but also from getting infected with coronavirus.
According Mikhail Murashko, the head of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the proportion of vaccinated among seriously ill COVID-19 patients is below 0.03%, while the vast majority of patients in hospitals are unvaccinated. At the end of September, the WHO reported the correlation between the mortality from SARS-CoV-2 and the refusal of immunization.
