Those vaccinated against coronavirus now do not have to self-isolate after contact with an infected person

According to the decree issued by Anna Popova, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Russians who have been vaccinated against coronavirus will be allowed not to self-isolate after contact with infected individuals, if the vaccination was administered not earlier than six months before the contact,

and subject to the absence of any symptoms of coronavirus infection. The same rules apply to those who have already had the disease and recovered.

“Persons who have undergone a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in the last six months, and persons who have had COVID-19 in the last six months, are not subject to isolation, provided they do not have symptoms of the disease,” the document published on the official Internet portal of legal information reads.

At the same time, unvaccinated people who have had contact with a coronavirus patient must be isolated for at least 14 calendar days from the date of the last contact or until recovery.
