The Ministry of Health has issued a registration certificate to SinSaVacTM, a vaccine against yellow fever, according to the data of the State Register of Medicines. The holder of the registration certificate is Smartbiotech.
According to the State Register of Medicines, SynSaVacTM is an attenuated vaccine. It will be produced by the Chumakov Center. Smartbiotech is also stated in the register as the manufacturer in the intermediate manufacturing stages of the vaccine.
Live attenuated vaccines are made from microorganisms that have reduced pathogenicity but pronounced immunogenicity. According to the State Register of Medicines, another vaccine has been registered in Russia under trade name “Live Dry Yellow Fever Vaccine”. The registration certificate for the device has been in force since 2009.
