The Pharmasynthez plant in the Tyumen region will start producing new hormonal drugs this summer. This is reported by Tyumenskaya Liniya publication with reference to Nikolay Purtov, the General director of the Investment Agency of the Tyumen Region fund.
The volume of investments exceeded 4 billion rubles, and 480 jobs will be created.
“The work on attracting investors in the medical services and pharmaceutical industries to the region continues, we provide all the necessary support, including the provision of land plots without competitive bidding,” Purtov said.
The new production will be able to cover up to 50% of the Russian market of hormonal drugs. Seven production lines have been built at the plant. The total production capacity of all lines is about 1 billion packages, in various dosage forms, per year.
As previously reported, Pharmasynthez is now listed among the top ten largest pharmaceutical corporations.
