Citizens in the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions entitled to subsidized drug supply are provided with the necessary medicines free of charge, according to Mikhail Murashko, the head of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
According to Murashko, he visited some places personally.
“This year, the supply of medicines was organized centrally, both for hospitals and for subsidized categories of citizens. I went to a number of places and, among other things, checked that patients with bronchial asthma and diabetes began to receive medications in the outpatient mode,” the minister was quoted as saying by TASS.
Mikhail Murashko also said that diagnostic equipment would be delivered to these regions the following week. It will be used to arrange quick medical check-ups of children in educational institutions.
It is necessary to form the stock of medicines in Russia’s regions for at least four months. The instruction towards that goal was given by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
