Soyuzpharma Association of Pharmacy Institutions sent a letter to Igor Krasnov, the Prosecutor General of Russia, with a request to amend the inspections procedure. This is reported by FV.
In its letter, the association analyzed the problems identified during the control and supervision measures in pharmacies, in particular, the concepts of INNs and trade names of medicines were sometimes confused during minimum assortment check.
Soyuzpharma asks Igor Krasnov to pay attention to the misinterpretation of a number of facts in the operations of pharmaceutical companies. “It is necessary to maintain a balance between the rights and interests of pharmacy organizations and the interests of the prosecutor’s office, as well as to raise knowledge and awareness of the personnel involved in public prosecutor’s supervision,” said Maria Litvinova, Executive Director of Soyuzpharma API, Vice President of Opora Russia.
