The plant plans to produce more than 80 names of vital drugs and develop new ones. The production was built at Alabushevo site of Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone. The pharmaceutical company invested 2.5 billion rubles in the construction of the complex.
“More than 80 names of vital and essential drugs will be produced there, including cardiovascular and liver therapies, and drugs that reduce blood cholesterol level, and a large number of products of other therapeutic groups. We have launched small-scale production, and it will help us enhance the technologies. A chemical analytical laboratory has also been launched, where the results of the production are analyzed. It is planned to launch larger lines and workshops starting from Q1 of 2023,” said Ilya Titov, Technical Director. The company also added that after reaching full capacity, the plant will create almost 1,500 jobs.
Valentina Matvienko, the head of the Federation Council, took part in the opening of the complex. She believes the launch is a landmark event for the entire pharmaceutical industry of the country. “This work is very important not only for the technological and medical sovereignty of the country, but, above all, to protect lives and health of our citizens. We are ready to be the best, and we should work towards that result,” she said.
