On May 28th, the Irkutsk Administration and Pharmasyntez officially signed an agreement. The presence at the ceremony was distinguished by the attendance of Ruslan Bolotov, Mayor of Irkutsk, Evgeny Orachevsky, Director for Interaction with State Authorities of JSC Pharmasyntez, and Tatyana Makarycheva, Chairman of the Committee for Economic and Strategic Planning.

Currently, there are two ongoing projects being implemented in Irkutsk by the Pharmasyntez group of companies, as stated by Evgeny Orachevsky. The initial focus is on expanding production capacities for manufacturing filled ampules and pre-filled syringes. A full launch of this project is planned for early 2024. The next endeavor involves building a state-of-the-art workshop dedicated to manufacturing medications for individuals suffering from asthma. The equipment has already been acquired, and the workshop is currently being prepared for its grand opening. The execution of these two projects will not only address the issue of medicine import substitution, but will also generate approximately 150 new workplaces.
