Number of conducted clinical trials doubled in Moscow

According to Anastasia Rakova, the Vice Mayor of the capital, pharmaceutical companies and drug developers are now seeking the expertise of the Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies in Healthcare, leading to a significant increase in the number of clinical trials being conducted.

She mentioned that there have been a total of 31 studies conducted encompassing a wide range of 22 distinct diseases. These diseases encompass various fields such as oncology, endocrinology, cardiology, pulmonology, hematology, and surgery. Already, 14 clinical trial facilities have been selected. Volunteer recruitment assistance has been provided to two studies, and deployments are underway for nine more studies to further assist in patient recruitment.
