The surge in drug prices in Russia during June 2023 remained under 1%

The Russian Federation’s Federal State Statistics Service recently released a report highlighting noteworthy changes in the index of consumer products. Of particular importance were the findings that drug prices have seen a significant increase of 0.7% in the month of June.

The consumer price index saw a modest increase in June 2023, reaching 100.37%, which indicates a slight uptick compared to May 2023. The increase indicates a consistent and encouraging pattern, given that the index has also experienced a 2.76% growth compared to December 2022. An impressive stability index of 99.65% can be observed in June 2022, underscoring the remarkable and unwavering progress achieved in the quest for stability. The latest data showcases extraordinary endeavors in maintaining the index in check, despite being compared to the slightly higher index of 111.41% recorded in December 2021.
