There are plans to establish a cutting-edge facility in the Republic of Karelia by the autumn of 2025. This enterprise aims to produce high-quality biologically active additives extracted from algae found in the pristine White Sea. Artur Parfenchikov, the head of the region, believes that the products produced here will have various applications, one of which being in the pharmaceutical industry.

Biomedical Innovative Technologies is currently in the process of implementing the project. Since 2005, the company has been producing medical, specialized, sports and baby food, dietary supplements, drinks and cosmetics. Since the company has a commercial base in the White Sea, it will independently extract the necessary raw materials for its new endeavor.
