Influenza vaccine deliveries to Russia to begin in August

The Russian healthcare system is gearing up to distribute vaccines to the regions starting in August, in anticipation of the upcoming influenza season. This was announced by the Minister of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko.

“Preparations for the upcoming influenza season are already in full swing. We are finalizing contracts with suppliers that meet the highest standards, ensuring that the vaccines pass rigorous quality control measures. The vaccination campaign is set to commence in August, providing the utmost safety and protection for everyone. All delivery orders have already been given, and the first ones are the northern regions,” he told reporters after visiting Omsk hospitals.
