The Federal Antimonopoly Service has approved the price of Solifenacin Canon, the first Russian generic drug containing the active ingredient solifenacin. A package of 30 tablets, each with a dosage of 10 mg, costs 760.96 rubles. This price is 15% lower than the original Vesicare from Astellas, which costs 918.26 rubles.
Solifenacin Canon is a member of the anticholinergic group, which is commonly prescribed to address urinary system issues. In addition to Vesicare, two more drugs with a similar active ingredient are available on the Russian market: Vesigamp (Sun Pharmaceutical Industries) and Soliksa-Xantis (Saneca Pharmaceuticals).
