From January to June 2023, industrial production in Moscow soared by an impressive 9%, while the manufacturing sector experienced an exceptional surge of 9.8%.The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, addressed this matter in his official telegram channel.

The mayor stressed that the pharmaceutical, food, and textile sectors thrive due to their unique strengths and expertise. In the past six months, the production of medicine and medical supplies has experienced a remarkable surge, recording an awe-inspiring growth rate of 38.8% when compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In addition, he pointed out that urban businesses have a remarkable production increase of 31.3% in clothing and an impressive 26.6% in food, particularly meat products, fish, and seafood. Currently, Moscow boasts an impressive number of over 4,000 industrial sites, employing a staggering workforce of over 720,000 dedicated individuals.
