Russian pharmaceutical companies play a crucial role in manufacturing a diverse range of life-saving medications specifically tailored for cancer patients. The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, made the announcement. “Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers are very actively involved and today they produce a large line of drugs [for cancer patients], which allow us to reduce the price,” he said at the Innovative Oncology forum.
Murashko added that Russian institutions are developing new approaches to drug therapy for cancer patients. On Thursday, he also visited the new radiology building for cancer patients at the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center of Oncology”.
