The Russian pharmaceutical market is gradually replacing imported drugs with Russian ones. This process will continue, said Aleksey Kuznetsov, assistant head of the Russian Ministry of Health.
During a conversation with journalists, he explained that the rise in the market share of domestic pharmaceuticals aligns with the state’s policy of guaranteeing national drug safety. This development not only caters to the interests of citizens and the healthcare system but also benefits the Russian economy as a whole.
81% of the vital and essential medications on the list are manufactured within the Russian Federation, as stated by Deputy Minister of Health, Yevgeny Kamkin.
