The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, made an announcement via his Telegram channel declaring the start of production for an innovative light-based cancer treatment drug.
“In Moscow they began to produce a drug for the treatment of cancer using light. In the early stages of the disease, this treatment method can replace surgery. The drug is administered to the patient, it accumulates in tumor cells, then is activated by laser or LED radiation. The neoplasm is almost completely destroyed,” Sobyanin wrote.
According to him, this development of the capital company has no foreign analogues. “The company plans to produce up to 40 thousand bottles per year – we will meet the needs of photodynamic therapy in Russia,” the mayor emphasized.
