In 2023, there was a notable decline, of 6.6%, in the volume of imported drugs purchased by the government. On the other hand, a remarkable trend has surfaced with the surge in purchases of local medications. The press service of the Ministry of Health informed journalists about this matter.
The ministry declared that while the volume of government purchases of imported medicines experienced a 6.6% decrease this year, the volume of purchases for domestic medicines, on the other hand, showed a noteworthy increase.
