The level of retail prices for drugs from the list of vital and essential drugs (VED) over the nine months of 2023 increased by an average of 2.7%. This was reported by the press service of Roszdravnadzor.
“According to monitoring prices for drugs included in the list of vital and essential <…>, in pharmacies and medical organizations for the nine months of 2023, the level of retail prices for drugs in the outpatient segment increased by an average of 2.7%, that is, below the level inflation,” the report says.
This indicates the effective operation of the state price control system for vital and essential drugs, Roszdravnadzor added. In total, this list includes more than 800 international non-proprietary names of drugs.
