Russia and Syria signed a memorandum on joint development of drugs and medical devices

An agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as the Ministry of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic. This agreement aims to foster collaboration in the areas of medicine and medical device development, production, and supply. It was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health.

“The memorandum will promote the development of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of circulation, including the development and supply of medicines and medical products on a long-term and stable basis,” the statement said.

The countries also intend to develop joint investment projects for the production of pharmaceutical products. In addition, it is planned to organize mutual internships for medical specialists. “There are directions for personnel training. We are ready to provide all possible assistance, including short-term courses for practicing doctors,” the message quotes the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko.
