Moscow clinics and the First Moscow State Medical University will test new vaccines for the XBB-1 coronavirus strain. The vaccines in question are the two-component Sputnik V and the single-component Sputnik Light, both with an updated antigenic composition.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova explained that the study will last 90 days and 100 people will take part in it. “The recruitment of volunteers has been successfully completed,” she said. “Once the study is completed, we intend to purchase the drugs.”
