From 2024, mandatory dispensary observation of working citizens at their place of work will be introduced in Russia. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that the program will encompass a study of reproductive function at the National Health Care 2023 congress.
“We will be implementing a distinct dispensary observation of workers program within the compulsory health insurance system, starting next year,” she said with the aim of enhancing accessibility to medical care for working citizens. The official stated that the medical examination can be arranged through an internal medical organization or a third party, requiring the drafting of an agreement.
The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has recently suggested incorporating testing for hepatitis C antibodies into the routine medical check-ups for adults. Such screening is proposed to be carried out once every 10 years, starting from the age of 25.
