The Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia plans to open 60 industrial medicine centers in departmental medical organizations in the next two years. One of such began work at the Federal Siberian Research Clinical Center under FMBA of Russia (FSRCC FMBA of Russia) in Krasnoyarsk. Alexander Fetisov, chief physician of the Agency, spoke about this.

According to him, this is the first high-tech center of industrial medicine in Siberia. “In general, in the next two years, FMBA plans to open more than 60 industrial medicine centers in departmental medical organizations, as well as digitalize all the health centers that we have deployed at industrial enterprises,” Fetisov said.
The center in Krasnoyarsk will cater to 15 major industrial enterprises whose workers, due to their work, are exposed to specific production risks. “Over the past year and a half, we have been bringing the industrial medicine system to a modern level,” the doctor added.
