In Russia, from January 15, 2024 to February 28, 2025, an experiment will be held on labeling perfumery, cosmetics and household chemicals. The range of product types that will require labeling as part of the experiment consists of makeup products, non-medicated hair and skin care products, oral and dental hygiene products (including denture powders), deodorants, shaving gels, and soap.
Within the pilot program, there are plans to develop and test cutting-edge technologies for implementing identification mechanisms on goods. Furthermore, the program aims to facilitate seamless interaction between participants involved in the circulation process and the labeling information system. Additionally, it will address various other challenges associated with organizing the labeling of this specific group of products. Participation in the experiment is provided on a voluntary basis.
