Russia is currently implementing a pilot project from 2023 to 2024 to remotely monitor the health of patients with diabetes or hypertension. To fulfill these purposes, individuals are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and granted the privilege of having their own personal medical assistants. In 2023 the project covered more than 12 thousand people, while the target figure was set at 7,700 as the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health said.
More than 9,500 medical devices with remote data transfer function are connected to the Personal Medical Assistants platform. During the monitoring, isolated cases of malfunction of such medical devices were recorded, requiring their repair and replacement.
