The Federal Center for Animal Health will send vaccines against rabies and avian influenza to Brazil within the framework of a quadripartite agreement signed on February 20 with the State University of Maringa (UEM), the Federal University of Parana (Universidade Federal do Parana) and the company Belcher Pharmaceuticals (Brazil).
“As part of the new cooperation agreement, it is planned to send rabies vaccines and avian influenza vaccines to Brazil. These vaccines are produced by the Federal State Budgetary Institution ARRIAH in accordance with the highest international standards and have proven effectiveness in the prevention and control of relevant diseases,” the statement says. In addition to supplying vaccines, ARRIAH also plans to provide technical assistance to Brazil in the field of diagnosis and prevention of animal diseases.
