In an interview with RIA Novosti, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko revealed that Russia possesses remarkable expertise in the pharmaceutical field. He underlined that if a foreign company chooses to exit the Russian market, the government would explore the option of developing its own production of a similar medication.
“We understand that if we do not violate international law, including patent law, when work is carried out as planned and as a partnership, but the company decides to act differently, then the Government of the Russian Federation already has practice when We make our own decisions in the interests of the population and, accordingly, production,” he said.
