50 thousand children received medical products as part of the “Fighting Diabetes” project

The federal project “Fighting Diabetes Mellitus” has provided equipment for continuous glucose monitoring for approximately 50,000 children with type 1 diabetes mellitus. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Evgenia Kotova.
“Since the end of 2023, a passport for the federal project “Fighting Diabetes Mellitus” has been developed, which provides for the provision of all children with type 1 diabetes mellitus with means for continuous glucose monitoring. And there are about 50 thousand of these children – appropriate medical products have already been purchased for them, funds have been provided,” Kotova said at the plenary session of the Congress of Russian Pediatricians.
